ABOUT LEE

Lee Chan

Life is an endless buffet for Lee Chan. A television presenter, MC, event host, recipe developer and cook, this second-generation Chinese Australian has made a career from eating, cooking and sharing food stories.

From the outbacks of Australia grilling emu sausages over an open fire to sailing up the coast of Croatia to eat Peko Peko, Lee Chan’s life is just a series of meals.

Every meal is a food experience. There's an opportunity to connect with those at the table, to learn a recipe or a life lesson. Most importantly, food is simple way to love and nourish herself and those around her.

Food is her love language.

After competing and making it to the grand final of Channel Seven’s hit series My Kitchen Rules in 2011, Lee has been delighting audiences world-wide as the host of food segments on Coxy’s Big Break and Just Go TV.

Lee went on to host a travel/cooking show aptly named Lee Chan’s World Food Tour, where she samples the best culinary fare and cooks her delicious recipes.

Her work as a television host has aired on National Geographics Asia, Australia's Channel 7, SBS Food and more recently on Journy TV in the USA.

As an MC, she has hosted events, from Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, and Noosa Food & Wine Festival to exclusive launches with Melbourne’s best restaurants.

It’s not a secret that Lee love’s to eat. When she’s not eating, she’s cooking.

She finds inspiration in local ingredients and different cultures. She’s always thinking of ways she can spread love through her cooking.

In 2017, she started a boutique catering business for an exclusive list of clients as a passion project between filming.

She worked closely with her clients to design and cook weekly meal plans. The business also hosted small and large private dinners, catered boat parties, corporate events and pop-up stalls in Melbourne, Victoria.

Lee’s hunger for life has taken her to Singapore recently.

She’ll follow her tastebuds on a culinary adventure across Asia and beyond.

Stay tuned!
