ABOUT LEE
Lee Chan
Television Presenter | MC | Event Host | Recipe Developer | Chef

Lee Chan, a second-generation Chinese Australian, has made a career out of her passion for food. As a television presenter, she has explored food stories globally and appeared on National Geographics and SBS Food.
Lee Chan has grilled emu sausages in the Australian outback with the Indigenous and sailed the Adriatic Sea in search of the rustic Croatian dish, Peko Peko but nothing compares to the hustle and bustle of a Hong Kong cafe, where she indulges in childhood favorites like pineapple buns with butter and baked pork chop fried rice.
In 2017, Lee launched a side business as a caterer. This new chapter allowed her to craft personalized meal plans, cater for special occasions, and continue doing what she loves most—cooking. The greatest joy for Lee in her role as a chef came from helping clients achieve their goals, whether it was weight loss, body building, or simply a beautifully catered event.
After taking a three-year hiatus to serve as the primary caregiver for a terminally ill family member, Lee developed a profound sense of empathy, resilience, and organizational skills. This period enriched her understanding of human stories and personal connections.
Currently, Lee is pursuing a Diploma in Screen and Media (Radio and Broadcasting) to further her journey in the media industry. While she continues to explore new facets of broadcasting, her passion for the culinary sector and human-interest stories remains central to her career aspirations.
